Thank you for visiting our website, and welcome to Melva Davis Academy of Excellence for the 2024-2025 school year!
We are so excited to begin the 2024-2025 school year with whole-school assemblies and a reboot and build-up of our school culture! It is important to us to connect with our students and families. We want to establish and maintain positive relationships with our community, as family and community support makes our schools even stronger. Academic learning and growth are our bottom line, yet we also understand that educating students means being attentive to the “whole child” and caring about their social and emotional well-being.
I feel extremely fortunate to be the principal of a school with such wonderful children, a motivated and dedicated staff, and parents who work with us to create an environment that facilitates student learning through a wide variety of innovative and collaborative methods and activities. Our faculty and staff are highly committed to providing the most rewarding education possible and making the process of learning an enjoyable experience. We are a place of learning, belonging, growth, and support for students, families, and the community. Your child's education is our top priority!
